1 - General Requirements:
- Legal Compliance: You must comply with your state's legal requirements to start your own business on ZART (e.g., you must be of legal age).
- Intellectual Property: Shop owners should hold the intellectual property rights (such as patents, trademarks, or copyrights) for their products.
- Product Safety: Shop owners are responsible for ensuring that their products are non-toxic and safe.
- Verification: We require shop owners to upload videos of their crafting process to verify that the item is handmade and created by the shop owner.
- Multiple Accounts: To distinguish between different product lines, an individual or company can apply for up to three shop owner accounts, each treated as a separate shop owner. Balances in different accounts are calculated independently. For special requests, please contact support@zartusa.com.
2 - Payout Methods and Schedule:
- Payout Methods: We offer four payout methods: Gift cards, ZART Store credit, Checks by mail, and Online payments (PayPal and ACH). Note that transactions via checks by mail and online payment methods may incur additional fees. Shop owners can change their payout method once a month by contacting customer service.
- Gift Cards: Examples include Amazon and ZART gift cards.
- ZART Store Credit: Allows you to buy products and services on ZART.
- Checks by Mail: Will incur a processing fee of $5 and a mailing fee of $1 to $3 per check.
- PayPal: Includes a processing fee of 2.7% of the transaction amount plus a fixed fee of $0.25 USD per transaction. Note: Additional fees may apply for international transactions, currency conversion, or other charges depending on your PayPal account type.
- ACH: Includes a processing fee of 2.39% of the transaction amount plus a fixed fee of $0.25 USD per transaction. However, as part of a limited-time promotion, ZART will remove the ACH processing fee (2.39% + $0.25).
- Payout Schedule: Shop owners can request a withdrawal once per month. ZART will process the payment within 3 business days. Payments are based on orders completed for more than 30 days.
3 - Return and Exchange Policy:
All shop owners automatically agree to the following terms:
- Buyer’s Discretion: If a buyer returns an item due to personal preference or change of mind, the buyer will be responsible for the return shipping costs.
- Item Discrepancy: If the return is due to the item not matching the provided photos, the shop owner will be notified and will be required to cover the return shipping costs. We recommend utilizing our professional photography service to prevent such issues.
- Product Quality Issues: If the return is due to poor product quality, the shop owner will be informed, and a warning will be issued. Depending on the severity of the issue, we may either remove the product from our platform or impose additional fees on the shop owner.
- Special Items and Non-Refundable Products:
- Due to health and hygiene reasons, certain items such as personal care products (e.g., cosmetics, skincare products), underwear, etc., cannot be returned unless there is a product quality issue.
- Custom products or special-order items cannot be returned due to their personalized nature unless there is a product quality issue.
- Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, or plants) cannot be returned.
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases cannot be returned.
This policy ensures transparency and fairness for both buyers and shop owners while maintaining high standards for the products listed on our platform.
4 - Bank and Security Information:
- Once your shop owner account has been approved, you will need to enter your bank account information directly in the seller dashboard. When you submit a withdrawal request, we will communicate with you via email using the registered email address associated with your account.
- Your Social Security Number is required for tax reporting purposes.
- When an individual seller's annual total transfers via checks and online payments exceed $600, ZART is required by federal law to send you a 1099 tax form.
- All bank and security information handling complies with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
5 - Fees Summary:

Standard Partnership: Commission: 15%-25% per order

Raw Material Shop Owners:
Zart Processing Fee: 6.5% + $0.10 per order (Temporary waived for the first three months and discounted to 2.39% per ordrt after the first three months)
Note: As part of a limited-time promotion, ZART will temporary waived the Zart Processing Fee for the first three months and discounted it to 2.39% temporary after 3 months)
3rd Party Payment Processing Fee: 3.4% + $0.37 per order
6 - Promotion Options:
- MAX Shop Owners: Agree to comply with the company’s promotion activities such as free shipping promotions, festival promotions, etc.
- ZART FLEX Shop Owners: Can opt out of the promotion when applying.
7 - Shop Owner Application Form:
- When completing the shop owner application form, shop owners certify that the information in this form is accurate and complete by checking the box and entering their name. Shop owners have read and agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy
- When submitting the shop owner’s application form, shop owners must ensure that all the details they have entered are correct, including prices, shipping fees, and addresses. Shop owners will be responsible for any issues that arise after submission.
8 - MAX Shop Owners :
- Ship Products to Zart Warehouse: ZART MAX shop owners should first send their products to ZART (shipping costs are covered by the shop owner). However, as part of a limited-time promotion, ZART will cover 50% of the shipping cost, up to a maximum of $50 USD. For high-value items, we recommend purchasing insurance through USPS or UPS, such as standard shipping insurance. Once ZART receives the product from a ZART MAX shop owner, we will inspect the package.
- Free Pick-Up: Currently, shop owners in Orlando and LA can enjoy free pick-up service.
Note: The free pick-up service area may expand in the future. - $1.00-$2.50 Packaging Materials: We offer high-quality packaging tailored to the size of your products, with costs ranging from just $1.00 to $2.50, making it cost-effective for you.
- Up to 80% Shipping Discounts: Enjoy up to 80% off on shipping labels, without any processing fees, helping you save on shipping costs.
- 20% Off All Option Services:

- Free Shipping: Orders over $49 will automatically enjoy free shipping. This policy is effective when both ZART’s products and the shop owner’s products are included in the same order, or when any combination of products meets the $49 threshold.

- Up to 75% Shipping Discounts: Enjoy up to 80% off on shipping labels, without any processing fees, helping you save on shipping costs.

10 - Sales Tax Handling:
- ZART will assist shop owners in collecting sales tax. Generally, tax handling fees will be waived, but special circumstances may incur additional fees, which will be notified separately.
ZART reserves the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms and Conditions at its sole discretion at any time. Furthermore, the exclusive right to interpret and enforce these Terms and Conditions is vested solely in ZART.
