Looking back at his exposure to wood carving art when he was young, especially the national treasure collection of the National Palace Museum in Taipei, he set the ambition to challenge the limits of exquisite wood carving. After years of traveling, observing and learning, as well as intensive research and exploration, he laid the foundation for the exquisite "Ant" series of works. After the first exhibition at the Taipei Fine Arts Museum in 1984, he not only made his mark in the wood carving creation world, but was also invited to exhibit in Japan and became famous overseas.
